The Chemistry Film Studio was originally set up in January 2000 with the aim to place a collection of good quality chemistry demonstrations on the internet.

The experiments are mainly targeted at schools, but other experiments that will be of interest to all chemists will also be included.

These demonstrations are often chosen to be spectacular with the aim to stimulate and motivate students.

Some of the demonstrations may require apparatus, facilities and chemicals unavailable to schools which makes the video of the experiment a particularly useful resource.
